Under the Shrine of Death 6_13 - Beta Call


6 13 brings almost everything that it was missed.

In other words, it is the final version and will be updated only if bugs are found.

So what it brings?

The Mage.

The Mage is here and with his update the Cleric is changed a little bit too.

The big change here, apart from the spells this character have, is that now in every turn your character will reload on MP.

This way, the Mage can be played only with his Spells.

It was something almost necessary as there are no armours or weapons for the Mage in the game. With this one the Cleric may had begun a little bit overpowered, but I think that it's OK.

Also, the Mage can go to Negative MP. This means that you can cast any Spell when you have at least on MP.

The Ranger

The rules had a Thief as the fourth Class, but it felt strange sneaking up to enemies when they are looking at you, so I removed the sneak - backstab things from the Thief, and he became the Ranger.

The Ranger brings with his the Bows. Now, the Fighter can use bows too, but I do not really recommend it.

The Ranger have some extra "abilities". 

He can equip, get or place traps without loosing AP.

Also, he can still run if he shoots with his bow. This way he can keep a distance from his enemmies.


Monsters

Monster "AI" had been updated a little bit, too.

Zombies, Ghouls, Snakes now wander around the dungeon. So now you will probably meet a Ghoul out of the blue or get a hit from behind without expecting it.

Goblins and Kobolts are flee characters. They will run away from you when they see you, but they will attack you if you are near them at the end of your turn.

Zombies and Skeletons will regenerate their health. On HP per turn. So kill them quickly.


The Map

The Map size was altered a little bit, but now you can see the Dungeon Level and there is an option to quit the game by pressing the C button.


Textures

Now all the levels have a unique texture.


Music

The game now have 7 unique music track.

Only the first and the second tracks are repeated. The first half of the game (level 5) and the second before the last encounter (8).


Final Notes

The game is ready, but I believe little changes are required here and there to make the experience better or to fix any mistakes.

So please play the game and report what ever you think.
