Under the Shrine of Death -Cleric- 5_29

The Cleric is here and brings many changes to the game.

Now, when you start a new game, you will see the dice roll as you create your character.

After that, you are asked to select your Class.

Right now, the Fighter and the Cleric are available.

There is a possibility to not be able to choose any class as the rules do not permit this.

If this happens, just restart the game. (it will change in future).

Cleric

The Cleric is a character that will not use bladed weapons.

e.g. If you try to equip or throw a bladed weapon he will refuse to do so.

But the Cleric have Spells.

So by pressing B and entering the Main Actions, you can select Cast Spells and cast the availably spells.

Spells require MP (Mana Points).

MP are not borrowed from the Basic Fantasy RPG. It is something added in this game only.

MP will refill when you change a level or in case of upgrade.

Keep in mind that the aggressive spells that require an enemy in front of you, will not show up if there is no enemy there.

Potions

Potions now have dual use. You can throw them to the enemies and by doing this if the throw is successful almost the opposite effect will inflict the enemy.

Also, now there is and a Poison Potion that will cure the Poison in your Blood.

This means that the Snake and the Giant Bee can poison you.

Poison

Poison can be removed with a Poison Potion or with the Cure Poison Spell.

Poison will do 1 hp damage every turn.

Yes, it is deadly.
